Provide at-risk expectant parents and families with young children with information, support, and training regarding child health, development, and care from prenatal stages through early childhood via trained home visitors

Support organized social, art, or physical activities for school-aged youth outside of the school time

Support fathers’ active involvement in child rearing via various father-focused or family-focused interventions

Introduce a short-term family-based intervention therapy focused on strengths, protective factors, and risk factors for youth with delinquency, violence, or substance abuse problems, and their families

Provide home visiting services to families who are at risk for adverse childhood experiences, starting prenatally or right after birth and continuing for three to five years

Use helmets to absorb, dissipate, and reduce impact forces to an athlete’s head and brain during collisions or falls

Coordinate efforts to reduce risky sexual behavior among adolescents with work, vocational training, or sports

Inform parents and caregivers about lead exposure pathways from contaminated dust, soil, water, and air as well as the irreversible health consequences of lead exposure

Facilitate mediation between tenants and landlords to resolve conflict and prevent eviction

Apologize for discriminatory housing policies; increase subsidies, financing, and paths to homeownership for people of color; and invest in systematically disadvantaged neighborhoods
