Work to partner with victims/survivors of intimate partner violence, help them with safety plans, and link them to community services (e.g., legal, housing, financial advice, emergency shelter, etc.)

Establish a framework to increase walking and biking trails and improve connectivity of non-auto paths and trails in a particular area

Provide funding for local community development activities such as affordable housing, anti-poverty programs, and infrastructure development

Purchase the land a home is on to lease to homeowners with low and middle incomes and require homeowners to sell the home back to the trust or to another resident with low income upon moving

Support HPV vaccination through multi-component community interventions, including education, outreach, navigation support, and vaccine provision

Detect and intervene in potentially violent situations, educate and mobilize communities, and connect high-risk individuals to services; formerly called Chicago CeaseFire

Assesses past or present experience of intimate partner violence among female patients in health care settings and provides follow-ups such as counseling or referrals for services

Provide eligible families with low and very low incomes with vouchers to help cover the costs of rental housing; also called Section 8

Facilitate mediation between tenants and landlords to resolve conflict and prevent eviction

Inform adolescents, young adults, and parents about HPV and its consequences, as well as the benefits of vaccination, via videos, printed materials, online content, or in-person efforts
