Support acquisition of job-specific skills through education, certification programs, or on-the-job training, often with personal development resources and other supports

Provide condoms free of charge or at a reduced cost in community and school-based settings

Provide tailored health information and assistance with decision making, behavior change, and emotional support via digital interactive programs

Increase access to LARCs through cost reduction, comprehensive birth control counseling, provider training, efforts to ensure availability at local clinics, etc.

Use traditional and digital media to disseminate information about safe sex

Support initiatives that combine multiple components such as education, skills building, and contraceptive promotion to reduce pregnancy among youth

Promote abstinence from sexual activity, generally only with mention of condoms and birth control to highlight failure rates

Provide industry-focused education and job training based on the needs of regional employers within specific sectors

Provide short-term employment opportunities for youth, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds

Support school-, community-, and clinic-based teen pregnancy prevention programs such as comprehensive sex education, HIV/STI prevention and youth development efforts, service learning, etc.

Establish time-limited, subsidized, paid jobs to help individuals with barriers to employment transition to unsubsidized employment

Provide participating high school students with professional opportunities that combine academic and on-the-job training or mentorship
