Inform adolescents, young adults, and parents about HPV and its consequences, as well as the benefits of vaccination, via videos, printed materials, online content, or in-person efforts

Clean, remove, replace, or cover lead contaminated soil with non-contaminated soil, mulch, sod, grass, or concrete

Replace lead plumbing material such as pipes, service lines, fittings, solder, flux, and fixtures with non-lead plumbing material

Provide funds to households with low incomes to meet home energy needs, especially for households with children, older adults, or individuals with disabilities

Establish programs that accept expired, unwanted, or unused medicines from designated users and dispose of them responsibly

Establish transportation services for areas with low population densities using publicly funded buses and vans on a set schedule, dial-a-ride transit, volunteer ridesharing, etc.

Promote abstinence from sexual activity, generally only with mention of condoms and birth control to highlight failure rates

Provide students from public schools, from low income backgrounds, or who have a high risk of dropping out and their families with information about social services and health care supports; also called community resource or family and community liaisons

Create designated tax districts that generate revenue to invest in affordable housing initiatives, blight remediation, and economic development efforts

Provide participating high school students with professional opportunities that combine academic and on-the-job training or mentorship
