Adopt policies that allow custodial parents who receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) to collect all child support paid by the non-custodial parent; no portion is retained by the state
Tobacco retailer location restrictions
Set the number, type, proximity, and density of tobacco retailers, especially near homes and schools, via state or local zoning, licensing restrictions, or other regulations
Inclusionary zoning & housing policies
Require developers to reserve a proportion of housing units for residents with low incomes via mandatory requirements or incentives, such as density bonuses
Youth apprenticeship initiatives
Provide participating high school students with professional opportunities that combine academic and on-the-job training or mentorship

Apologize for discriminatory housing policies; increase subsidies, financing, and paths to homeownership for people of color; and invest in systematically disadvantaged neighborhoods

Help high school students prepare for college, complete applications, and enroll, especially first-generation applicants and students from families with low incomes
