Creating prosperous rural communities

Date & time:
November 15, 2022 3pm EST

Rural communities are rich in social and economic assets that can be used to support health equity. Join us November 15th to learn about a new tool, the Thrive Rural Health Framework, which was created by Aspen Institute Community Strategies Group (CSG) in partnership with the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute. The tool helps leaders identify these assets, implement strategies, and measure progress to advance rural prosperity, health, and well-being. Dr. Marjory Givens, associate director of UWPHI will introduce us to the framework while Chris Estes, co-executive director of CSG, will join us to share how to use this new framework in your community. This webinar will be structured as a workshop. and we encourage community leaders and residents to participate together for collective learning.

This is the second in a two-part series, Rural America’s Opportunity for Equity. Learn more about the series here and register for this webinar today.

County Health Rankings & Roadmaps will host a one-hour interactive virtual discussion at 4pm ET, immediately following the webinar. We encourage you to participate in an engaging dialogue with peers across the country to share your experiences with equity. Mark your calendars and plan to stay as long as you're able.
