Join Roadmaps to Health Leaders at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Culture of Health Hangout

Join the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) as it hosts its very first Culture of Health Hangout on November 12th at 12 p.m. ET. The 45-minute social media broadcast will delve into how public health departments are transforming community health. Public health leaders on the frontlines will talk about their efforts to build a culture of health and the innovative efforts they are spearheading to catalyze sustainable change.

A number of County Health Rankings & Roadmaps leaders will participate in the discussion, including Karen DeSalvo, City of New Orleans Health Commissioner, who played an integral role in New Orleans being named a 2013 RWJF Roadmaps to Health Prize winner. DeSalvo has also recently been named one of Governing Magazine’s nine public officials of the year. Muntu Davis, Public Health Director and County Health Officer of Roadmaps to Health Community Grantee Alameda County will also take part in next Tuesday’s discussion. Jewel Mullen, Connecticut Department of Public Health Commissioner and Michael Meit, Co-Director of the NORC Walsh Center for Rural Health Analysis will round out the impressive panel.
