County Health Rankings Show Persistent Barriers to Economic Security
The COVID-19 pandemic and the layered crises of racism and economic exclusion both revealed and worsened revealed entrenched conditions obstacles for women, people of color, and those in low-wage jobs attempting to make enough money to feed their families, live in safe housing, and send their children to quality childcare centers and schools, according to data in the County Health Rankings & Roadmaps’ annual report released Wednesday.
