CHR&R receives NNPHI’s Network Member Impact Award

National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI) presented County Health Rankings & Roadmaps with the Network Member Impact award at NNPHI’s annual conference in Minneapolis. The award recognizes exemplary partnerships and contributions to public health that are measurable in their impact at the regional, state or local level.

This year’s conference, “Defining Public Health Now & In the Future,” provided public health professionals opportunities to connect, learn, develop skills and gain actionable takeaways.

In its recognition, NNPHI said that CHR&R “provides trusted, accessible data and evidence-informed planning tools. CHR&R stands apart as an initiative with far-reaching local and national impact. The maturity and scale of this work, coupled with innovations to translate data to action, is inspiring. Data is power, and County Health Rankings and Roadmaps is empowering our field at a key moment.”

For 15 years, CHR&R has provided data, evidence and tools to help communities better understand how they can take action to improve health and equity,” Johnson said. “It was an honor to be recognized and celebrated for our impact to the field alongside our partners and peers who are also doing this important work across the country.
