Innovative partnerships to address mental health
At least 1 in 5 people live with or will face a mental illness in their lifetime, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This webinar will explore innovative partnerships that are responding to social, environmental and structural determinants of mental health, such as adverse childhood experiences and chronic stress. We will be joined by Kini-Ana Tinkham, executive director of Maine Resilience Building Network, and Shamaila Khan, program director of the Center for Multicultural Mental Health at Boston Medical Center. Both guests will share examples of collaborations recognizing the impact of trauma while responding in ways that foster resilience and well-being.
County Health Rankings & Roadmaps will host a one-hour interactive virtual discussion at 4pm ET, immediately following the webinar. Participate in an engaging dialogue with peers across the country to share your experiences working toward equity. Mark your calendars and plan to stay as long as you're able.
