Hear from RWJF Culture of Health Prize winning communities Buncombe County NC and Brownsville TX on the building blocks for overcoming the challenges that occur when health is unequally influenced by differences in income, education, ethnicity, and where a person lives.

Action-Centered Data and Tools: County Health Rankings (11:30 a.m.)
Learn about the new tools and features in our Rankings and how they help communities improve their health.

Tuesday, November 18
Building a Culture of Health (12:30 p.m.)
As part of the Healthiest Nation in a Generation: What Will it Take? session, find out more about our program, including why we included the measures within our Rankings and how our tools have been used to spur local action to improve health. You can also hear the stories of Prize winning communities New Orleans, Spokane, and Cambridge.

Wednesday, November 19
Using ArcGIS to create a measure of access to physical activity for the County Health Rankings (8:30 a.m.)
See how we use the ArcGIS program to create useful measures of the built environment and visually represent a county’s health.
