About the Prize
RWJF Culture of Health Prize
A Culture of Health recognizes that where we live—such as our access to affordable homes, quality schools, good jobs, and reliable transportation—affects how long and how well we live. The Prize elevates the compelling stories of places where residents are working together to transform education, jobs, transportation, housing, and more so better health flourishes for all.
The RWJF Culture of Health Prize is an annual competitive selection process that awards $25,000 to winning communities that are working at the forefront of advancing health, opportunity, and equity for all. Prize communities also have the opportunity for national and local promotion of their story and successes to inspire other's efforts, and the opportunity to join a national network of past winning communities.
