Date & Time

Oct 9, 2012
Description:

Evaluating your efforts is an important step in the community health improvement process. This allows you to be sure that what you are doing is working in the way you intended and that your efforts are as effective and efficient as possible. Accountability also increases the likelihood that funders will continue to invest in your efforts. Doug Spohn, Wellness Manager for the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries, discussed how his team sets up evaluation plans—and how to adjust for reality. He was joined by Julia Dilley, program and policy evaluator; together they discussed their “lessons learned” from evaluation. Learn about guidance, tools and resources for developing evaluation plans that work.
